India-New Zealand 3rd Test- 9.30 am 2nd day's play: India lose 4 wickets for 86 runs; The Kiwi team was bowled out for 235 runs

The third and final match of the Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The second day's play on Saturday will begin at 9:30 am.

India had lost 4 wickets for 86 runs in the first innings till stumps on Friday. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant returned unbeaten. Earlier, the New Zealand team was all out for 235 runs in the first innings. India still trail New Zealand by 149 runs in the first innings.

The first day of the match was in the name of the spinners. Only 11 spinners took 14 wickets on the first day. Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets and Washington Sundar took 4 wickets. Then spinner Ejaz Patel took 2 wickets from New Zealand. Matt Henry got a wicket.

India lost 3 wickets for 6 runs At one time the score of Team India was 78 runs for one wicket. Team India lost three wickets in six runs from here. First, Ejaz Patel dismissed Yashwi Jaiswal and Mohammad Siraj on two consecutive balls. Then Virat Kohli was dismissed for 30, Rohit Sharma for 18, Virat Kohli for 4 and Mohammad Siraj for zero runs. Ajaz Patel got 2 wickets and Matt Henry got 1 wicket. Kohli was run out. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant returned unbeaten.

Opener Yashshwi Jaiswal was dismissed for 30 while trying to play a reverse sweep.

Virat Kohli was dismissed for 4 runs.

New Zealand scored 235 runs in the first innings New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Indian spinners performed brilliantly on the first day. The Kiwi team was all out for 235 runs in the first innings. Daryl Mitchell and Will Young scored half-centuries for New Zealand. Mitchell scored 82 runs off 129 balls and Young scored 71 runs off 138 balls. For India, Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets and Washington Sundar took 4 wickets. Akash Deep got one wicket.
