IND Vs AUS: Today is a real day for Team India: Kangaroos in a strong position, Bumrah hits the ball; Now on to the Indian batters

The third match between India and Australia is being played at the Gabba in Brisbane. Today is the third day of the match. Yesterday was another day in the name of Australia's batters. The team scored 405 runs for 7 wickets in the first innings on Sunday, the second day of the match. Wicketkeeper Alex Carey scored 45 runs and Mitchell Starc returned unbeaten with 20 runs.

Steve Smith scored a century of 101 runs and Travis Head played an innings of 152 runs for the Australian team. The duo shared a partnership of 241 runs for the fourth wicket. Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets from the Indian team. Mohammad Siraj and Nitish Rana got one wicket each.

The first day of this match was canceled due to rain. Only 13.2 overs could be bowled on Saturday. Indian team is bowling after winning the toss. Currently the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is tied at one apiece. India won the first Test by 295 runs, while Australia won the second match by 10 wickets.

Steve Smith's 33rd Test century Steve Smith completed his century. He has scored the 33rd century of his Test career. Smith scored 101 runs off 190 balls. He was dismissed by Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets Team India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has taken five wickets for the second time in this series. This is the 12th time he has taken five or more wickets in Tests. It was Bumrah who carried the colors of the Indian team on the second day. He brought Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney, Steve Smith, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh to the pavilion.

Only a 25% chance of rain today Rain may interrupt this match. According to the weather website AccuWeather, December 14 had the highest 88% chance of rain and it did. The first day of the match was washed out due to rain. There is 49% of rain on the second day of the match i.e. yesterday. But the match was over. Now there is a 25% chance of rain today. So there is a 42% chance of rain on the fourth day. 25% rainfall is expected on the fifth day as well.
