IND Vs AUS: Team India's batsmen will have to call it quits today: Australian top order shows its form on day one; Boom…boom…Bumrah's magic in bowling

Today is the second day of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Yesterday, i.e. on the first day, Australia scored 311 runs for 6 wickets against India by giving a strong performance. Steve Smith returned unbeaten on 68 and captain Pat Cummins on 8.

The Australian team won the toss and decided to bat at the MCG ground in Melbourne. 19-year-old young openers Sam Konstas (60 runs) and Usman Khawaja (57 runs) gave the Kangaroo team a good start. Both had an opening partnership of 89 runs in 116 balls.

Marnus Labusche contributed 72 runs and wicketkeeper Alex Carey contributed 31 runs. Mitchell Marsh was out for a personal score of 4 runs and Travis Head for zero. Bumrah took 3 wickets till stumps on Thursday. Akash Deep, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar got 1 wicket each.

Four Australian batsmen scored fifties Australia's top-4 batsmen batted brilliantly on the first day. Debutant opener Sam Konstas played an innings of 60 runs off 65 balls. So Usman Khawaja scored 57 runs. Marnus Labuschen, who came to bat at number three, was dismissed after scoring 72 runs. So Steve Smith has returned unbeaten on 68 runs.

Kohli pushed Konsta, a brawl ensued During the break after 10 overs, Indian batsman Virat Kohli pushed Australian opener Sam Constas. There was a small fight between the two. In such a situation the umpires intervened.

In the next over, Sam Konstas hit 3 boundaries off Bumrah. It consists of 2 fours and one six. According to cricket.com.au, ICC officials will now review whatever happened between the two players. Andy Pycroft is the referee in this match and will look into the matter.

Currently the 5 match series is tied at 1-1. India won the first test and Australia won the second test. The third test was a draw.
