IND Vs AUS: Team India will come under huge pressure: lost wickets after Jaiswal's dismissal; Daromdar on Pant-Jadeja today

Today is the third day of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The threat of follow-on is looming over the Indian team. The team lost 5 wickets for 164 runs by stumps on the next day. Rishabh Pant returned unbeaten for 6 and Ravindra Jadeja for 4. India need to score 111 more runs to avoid the follow-on. The follow-on mark in this match is 275 runs.

Australia scored 474 runs on the second day of the fourth Test being played at the MCG Stadium in Melbourne. In which Steve Smith scored 140 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took 4 wickets from India. Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets. Akash Deep got 2 wickets and Washington Sundar got 1 wicket.

Yashshwi Jaiswal scored 82 runs in the first innings for Team India. While Virat Kohli scored 36 runs. There was a partnership of 102 runs between the two. Rohit Sharma (3 runs) and KL Rahul (24 runs) were sent to the pavilion by Pat Cummins. Scott Boland got 2 wickets.

Steve Smith scored 140 runs off 197 balls in Australia's innings. He scored the 34th century of his Test career. This is his 11th century against India.

India lost 3 wickets for 6 runs Rohit Sharma and Yashaswi Jaiswal came to open from India. But in the second over of the innings, Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Kangaroo captain Pat Cummins. While KL Rahul looked to be in a decent rhythm but he too was bowled by Pat Cummins.

After this, Kohli and Yashaswi shared a partnership of 102 runs. But then Yashaswi Jaiswal was run out for 82 while trying to get a run. Another run was then added to the scoreboard when Scott Boland had Virat Kohli, who had settled on the pitch, caught behind the wicket by Alex Carey. Then nightwatchman Akash Deep (0) was dismissed. In this way the wickets of Yashaswi, Kohli and Akash Deep fell for 6 runs only.

Kohli and Yashaswi had a partnership of 102 runs.
