Team India is currently ahead of Australia by 145 runs. The score of the Indian team at the time of stumps on the second day of the match yesterday was 141/6. Ravindra Jadeja returned unbeaten on 8 runs and Washington Sundar on 6 runs.
Australia were all out for 181 runs in the first innings. Before that, the Indian team was all out for 185 runs in their first innings. Thus India got a lead of 4 runs in the first innings.
Rishabh Pant's T20 style batting After four wickets fell for 78 runs, Rishabh Pant took charge of the Indian innings. Pant completed his fifty by hitting fours and sixes in just 29 balls. Pat Cummins ended Pant's turbulent innings. Pant went for a cut shot outside the off-stump, which was caught out by wicketkeeper Alex Carey. Pant scored 61 runs in 33 balls with the help of 6 fours and four sixes.
Jasprit Bumrah is currently out of the field for this match. He was taken to hospital for a scan. However, he returned before the end of the day. Virat Kohli replaced Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah in Australia's first innings.
