IND Vs AUS: Bumrah-Akash save India's shame: Both save Team India from follow-on, last day of match today; India is still far behind

The third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played at The Gabba Stadium in Brisbane. Bumrah-Akash pair saved India from following on the fourth day of the match yesterday. Today is the last day of the match and Team India is still trailing by 193 runs. India has made 252 runs for 9 wickets. Akash Deep returned unbeaten on 27 and Jasprit Bumrah on 10. Both shared an unbeaten 39 run partnership for the last wicket

At one point the team lost the ninth wicket for 213 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed after scoring 77 runs. From here, India needed 33 runs to avoid the follow-on. In such a situation, Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah batted with patience.

The Indian team started the day with a score of 51/4. KL Rahul got out after scoring 84 runs. Captain Pat Cummins took 4 wickets from Australia. While Mitchell Starc got 3 wickets. So Josh Hazlewood got one wicket each. Australia scored 445 runs in the first innings. Team India won the toss and chose to bowl on Saturday.

KL Rahul scored 84 runs

Indian opener KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring 84 runs. He shared a partnership of 67 runs with Jadeja. Rahul hit 8 fours in his innings.

Jadeja scored 77 runs off 123 balls Team India's star all-rounder proved himself once again that it was a mistake to keep him out of the playing-11. Ravindra Jadeja came at a difficult time and formed a partnership with Rahul. Jaddu made a partnership of 67 runs with Rahul. After this he also partnered with Nitish Reddy and played a fighting innings to prevent the team from following on. Jadeja was dismissed after scoring 77 runs. He played 123 balls. During this he also hit 7 fours and 1 six.
