Before him, Jagmohan Dalmiya, Sharad Pawar, N Srinivasan and Shashank Manohar have been elected to the post. Barclay's tenure to end on November 30 The tenure of New Zealand's current ICC president, Greg Barclay, will end on November 30. The ICC said on August 20 that Barclay would not seek a third term as chairman. He was on this post since 2020. He will step down in November. Shah was the only candidate for the ICC president's post. The last date for filing nominations was today. Apart from Jai Shah, no other candidate filed for the post, due to which Shah was elected unopposed as the President of the ICC. Shah is also currently the Chairman of ICC's Finance and Commerce Sub-Committee. How much salary will Jai Shah get in ICC? Jai Shah's post i.e. the post of secretary in BCCI was an honorary post. In such a situation he did not get any salary. Even after becoming the ICC president, Jai Shah will not have any salary. As per the information available on ICC official website, ICC Chairperson, ICC Vice Chairperson, Directors (where applicable) receive allowances from time to time. That is, ICC officials receive remuneration for attending meetings and other official events. However, the exact details of these allowances are not provided. Powers and Responsibilities of the ICC President The role of the President of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is very important in the world of cricket.
