Pakistan Test team head coach Jason Gillespie has resigned from his post. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former fast bowler Aqib Javed as the interim head coach of the Test team. The Pakistan Cricket Board gave this information on Thursday.
Gillespie was not happy with some of the PCB's decisions. He informed the board about this before leaving for South Africa tour. Gillespie was appointed as the head coach of Pakistan's Test team in April this year.
The Pakistan team will play the first Test in Centurion from December 26, while the second Test will be played in Cape Town from January 3. Before this, Pakistan also has to play three ODI and three T20 match series in South Africa.
