New technologies being developed in the medical field have helped to improve the lives of many people. Doctors at a private hospital in Delhi have successfully cured a 54-year-old woman of 20 years of rheumatoid arthritis using robotic technology. This special operation not only cured the disease but also returned him to a normal life. The woman, a resident of Noida, was suffering from knee pain for the past two decades.
Advised the woman for robotic joint replacement surgery The woman consulted Dr. (Prof) Raju Vaishya, a renowned orthopedic surgeon at a private hospital. After the test, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Vaishya advised the woman for robotic joint replacement surgery. This robotic joint replacement surgery proved life-changing for the female patient. Dr. Vaishya and his team performed the first operation on the woman's right hip in July 2023. This was followed by a successful left knee surgery in October 2023. The right knee was replaced in October 2024 after a gap of one year. The success of each surgery gave the patient hope to return to a normal life.
