Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni believes that if you play good cricket, you don't need much PR. Your priority should always be the game and the team.
In an interview with Eurogrip Tyres, Dhoni talked about the growing use of social media and keeping a distance from it. The former captain said that in the early stages of his career, his manager advised him to use social media as much as possible, but he never heeded it.
“Social media wasn't that effective when I started playing” Former captain Dhoni said, “When I started playing cricket in 2004, social media was not that effective. Later came platforms like Twitter and Instagram. All my managers said I should use social media, connect with fans and strengthen my public relations.
However, Dhoni does not agree with these words of his managers. He believes that if he performs well, he will not need any public relations (PR).

Better to stay away from social media The former Chennai Super Kings captain also cited the benefits of staying away from social media. He said that it is good to stay away from social media, keeping distance from it makes his life stress free.
Dhoni said, what to post on social media and what not to post becomes a big challenge. I always thought that if something was really important, I would post it. I have never been interested in wondering how many followers one has.

Known for his coolness, Dhoni has led India in 200 ODI matches. In which 110 have won. 74 have been lost and 5 matches have been drawn. Along with this, he has achieved 41 wins in 74 T-20 matches. 28 has been defeated. 1 match has been a draw and 2 matches have no result.
