Captain Pat Cummins has returned to the Australian team after winning the ODI World Cup. He has been included in the squad for the 3-match ODI series against Pakistan. He was on a break from cricket for some time now.
Cricket Australia announced the squad for the series on Monday. The series is starting from November 4. The first match will be played at the MCG. After that, the second match will be played in Adelaide on November 8 and the third match will be played in Perth on November 10.

The last match was played in Ahmedabad Australian captain Pat Cummins was on a cricket break. He will be seen playing one-day internationals after a year. He was last seen playing in the ODI World Cup final against India in Ahmedabad. The Australian team won that match by 6 wickets.

Head and Marsh not named, chance for McGurk and Short Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh are not in the Australian squad. Both were part of the 5-match ODI series against England. Both of them have been granted paternity leave. These two have been replaced by Jack Fraser McGurk and Matthew Short. The pair of McGurk and Short can open.
