ICC has appointed Prakash Bhatt as the match referee for the Women's 3 ODI matches between India and West Indies to be played at Vadodara on 22, 24 and 27 December 2024. This will be his first one-day international series as an ICC match referee. Earlier he has refereed 17 T20 International games in both categories (men's and women's).
Prakash Bhatt has also played for Saurashtra Prakash Bhatt was born in 1970 in Bhavnagar. He has played domestic cricket for Saurashtra. In which he has scored 3183 runs at an average of 39 in 51 first class matches. In which 13 fifties and 7 centuries have been scored. So in List-A they have scored a total of 1007 runs in 38 matches at an average of 34. Prakash Bhatt has been the captain of the Saurashtra Ranji Trophy team.
BCCI appointed Prakash Bhatt as a match referee in the year 2008. Since the year 2018, he has also been working as a match referee in IPL and has officiated in many IPL matches so far.
