Barinder Saran's Retirement from International Cricket: Played 6 ODIs, 2 T20s for India; Won the IPL in 2016 from Sunrisers Hyderabad

Indian left-arm fast bowler Barinder Saran has retired from international cricket. The 31-year-old Saran made his debut for India in 2016. In the same year, he played 6 ODIs and 2 T20s for India between January and June. After that he did not get a chance in the Indian team. I am officially retiring from cricket,” Saran wrote on Instagram. I want to thank everyone for my journey. Sarne also played 24 IPL matches for Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rajasthan and Punjab. Barinder, a farmer's son, made up his mind to join cricket after the trial saw an advertisement for the Kings XI Punjab team. In which the team called the young players for trials. He was not selected in the trials, but continued to play cricket. Before this, he was taking boxing training at Haryana's Bhiwani Boxing Club. Saran played cricket with a tennis ball Even after failing the trial, Saran continued to play cricket. He used to play cricket with a tennis ball, but from here he participated in the King's Cup. A few months later, he was included in the top-40 uncapped players of Punjab. He was again bought by Rajasthan Royals in the 2015 IPL auction. Saran, who made his debut in 2016, did not get many opportunities in the IPL, but after playing just 8 List-A matches for Punjab, he got a chance in Team India. He made his ODI debut against Australia in January. He also took 3 wickets for 56 runs in Perth led by Dhoni. Saran was then selected for the tour of Zimbabwe, where he made his T20 debut in July and played 2 matches. He also got the player of the match award for taking 4 wickets in the second match. Last played domestic cricket in 2021 Since 2011, Sarne has played 18 first-class matches, 31 List-A matches and 48 T20 matches for Punjab. Sarne has not played a domestic match since 2021. In the IPL, he got a place in the teams of Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. He was also a net bowler for Gujarat Titans. After retirement, he can now be a part of the Legends Cricket League.
