Australian captain Pat Cummins, who is playing in the ICC Champions Trophy, is a doubt. He has an ankle injury, for which he will have to undergo a scan. Australia's chief selector George Bailey has given an update on Pat Cummins' fitness.
Cummins is about to become a father for the second time, Bailey said, for which he is currently on break. He has a slight ankle injury. He will undergo a scan next week, after which the status of his injury will be known. When asked if Cummins would be able to play in the Champions Trophy, he replied, “Nothing can be said at the moment.” A decision will be taken only after seeing the scan report. The Champions Trophy 2025 hosted by Pakistan will start from February 19 and will continue till March 9.
