Andre Agassi to visit India in January next year: Inaugurate 'Pickleball and Tour' tournament; Find out what this game is all about

Eight-time Grand Slam champion and former World No.1 tennis player Andre Agassi will visit India in January next year. It will inaugurate the PWR DUPR Indian Tour and League. The objective of this event is to popularize Pickle Ball in the country. The Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) recently introduced a new ranking structure. Under this PWR DUPR Indian Tour and League is being organized after the start of PWR World Tour and PWR World Series. Agassi released a video message Agassi released a video message to his Indian fans saying, 'I am excited to come to India and bring the thrill of pickles to the fans. I am looking forward to PWR DUPR Indian tour and league. I hope it will be a big success in the country.' It is played with a plastic ball and racket with a hole. It is played between singles and doubles players on a 44×20 square feet court. This unique game was started in 1965 by three American elders. One of these elder dogs was named 'Pickles'. They named the game Pickle Ball after him. There was a demand to include this sport in the Olympics, but so far the Olympic Committee has not included pickleball in the Olympics.
