Fast bowler Alzari Joseph has been banned for 2 matches. Cricket West Indies (CWI) has banned captain Shai Hope for arguing with him over field placement. 27-year-old fast bowler Joseph left the field in the middle of the match.
Cricket West Indies said in a statement on Thursday – Joseph's conduct was not in accordance with the CWI's standards of professionalism. CWI director of cricket Miles Bascombe said, 'Alzari's behavior was not in keeping with the core values of Cricket West Indies. This kind of behavior cannot be ignored.'
Windies Cricket announced the suspension of Alzari Joseph from the X post.
Joseph apologized to the captain, team and fans CWI's statement also included an apology from Joseph, quoting Joseph as saying, 'I admit I showed a little too much passion. I have personally apologized to captain Shai Hope and my teammates and management. I offer my sincere apologies to the West Indies fans, please understand that even the slightest lapse in judgment can have far-reaching implications and I am deeply sorry for any disappointment.'

What is the whole matter? Fast bowler Alzari Joseph was seen arguing with captain Shane Hope during the West Indies-England third ODI. He did not agree with the fielding set by captain Shane Hope, and when he asked the captain to change it, Hope refused. Due to which he got angry and left the field. After this the West Indies team continued to play with 10 fielders for one over. However, he later returned to the field.
