Afghanistan create history, bowl out South Africa for 106 runs: First win against African team in all three formats, 6-wicket win in first ODI

Afghanistan created history by beating South Africa for the first time in any format. The team bowled out South Africa for 106 runs in the first ODI played at Sharjah on Wednesday. After that, the target was achieved by losing 4 wickets in 26 overs.

From Afghanistan, fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqui took 4 wickets, Allah Ghazanfar 3 and Rashid Khan 2 wickets. In batting, Gulbuddin Naib scored 34 runs and Azmatullah Omarzai scored 25 runs which led the team to an easy win. With this, Afghanistan has taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Another ODI on September 20 Along with the win in the first ODI, Afghanistan has also taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series. The second match of the series will be played in Sharjah on September 20. Then the third match will be played in Sharjah on September 22.
