Yamaha India Motor has launched a carbon fiber pattern edition of its most popular racing bike R15M. The bike features the same carbon fiber pattern as the premium R15M carbon bodywork. The bike features carbon fiber pattern graphics and is priced at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
R15M The upgraded R15M in Metallic Gray is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh. The new bike is available for sale at all Yamaha showrooms. Earlier, Yamaha showcased the carbon fiber pattern edition of the R15M at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The premium sports bike offers features like turn-by-turn navigation.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber : Design Talking about the design, the Yamaha R15M sports bike features a new front cowl, side fairing and a new carbon fiber pattern alongside the rear side panel. To improve the road presence of the new R15M, Yamaha has used water-dipping technology. Apart from this, the Yamaha bike gets all-black fenders, new decals on the tank and blue wheels and side fairings at both ends.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber: Features The new R15M is now equipped with the Y-Connect app. In this you get functions of riding, music and volume control. The app is now available on Play Store. Apart from this, the bike has features like advanced switchgear, new LCD license plate light, digital color TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber: Performance The company has not changed the engine setup of the new Yamaha R15M. It has a 155cc liter fuel-injected engine, which generates 18.1hp of power and 14.2Nm of torque with a 6-speed transmission option. The bike has a dedicated traction control system. This system reduces the chance of wheel spin. The quick shifter facilitates smooth gear shifting without having to return to the throttle during manual clutch operation or upshifting. Apart from this, the assist and slipper clutch levers help in reducing the pulling process.
