Honda Car India is gearing up to launch the third generation model of the popular sedan Amaze. Even before the launch, the 2024 Honda Amaze was spotted without a cover during testing. Meanwhile, photos and videos of the exterior and interior design of the new generation Honda Amaze went viral on social media.
Earlier the company has released the design sketch. The car will be launched with a new front look and advanced safety features. The new generation Honda Amaze will be launched in India on December 4. Its price can start from Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the new generation Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
Like the Elevate, it will get sleek LED headlights
According to the sketches released by Honda, the appearance of the upcoming Honda Amaze is inspired by the new Honda City and the international model Honda Accord. The front of the Amaze features sharp styling lines and a hexagonal grill. On both sides there are attractive LED headlights with LED DRLs, which look similar to the Honda Elevate SUV. At the same time, the fog lamps are in their place. It can get multi-spoke alloy wheels, sleek LED taillights and a high bumper like the Honda City.
6 airbags standard and ADAS safety system
The new generation Honda has a new dashboard layout and a new cabin theme, inspired by the City sedan and Elevate SUV. Inside the cabin is a 3-spoke steering wheel with a black and beige color theme. On the dashboard, it has a pattern trim insert with a free-standing touchscreen.
New features like a wireless phone charger and a single-pane sunroof can be found in the Amaze. For safety, 6 airbags are standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) along with rear view camera can also be offered.
Performance: Amaze delivers a mileage of 18.6 kmpl
Mechanical changes are rarely seen in Honda Amaze. The car currently comes with a 1.2 liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 87.7hp of power and 110Nm of torque.
For transmission, this engine has a choice of 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. The Amaze will only come with a petrol engine, as the company has stopped making diesel engines. The company claims that this car gives a mileage of 18.6 kmpl.
