This is not the first case of rich people writing such strange slogans on bikes. While driving, we often see many such vehicles on the roads with caste, religion, name, position or strange slogans written on them. Most people do this to make themselves look cool and draw attention to their car. While writing such things on a vehicle is illegal as per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. For this the traffic police can levy a fine on the driver.

Answer: Banda Regional Transport Officer Saurabh Kumar says that some rules have been made for vehicles under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. According to these rules, writing anything on the back or number plate of a car, bike or any vehicle is a violation of the rules. Penalties may be imposed for disregarding these rules.
Question- What kind of things should not be written on the vehicle? Answer- As per the traffic rules, the vehicle, whether government or private, should not have any kind of sticker on it. Question: What is the penalty for writing anything on a vehicle? Answer: According to Section 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a challan of up to Rs 5000 can be issued if the vehicles have pasted words, stickers or pictures related to caste and religion or the number plates are not in accordance with the guidelines. If the driver does this again, he can be jailed for up to 1 year and fined up to Rs 10,000.
Question: Is anyone allowed to write their name or location on a vehicle? Answer: Yes! For this some vehicles have been allowed. For example, if a vehicle has a government official on duty, words like government, administration can be written on it. However, if the vehicle is not on duty and these words are written at that time it may also be valid.
District Magistrates, senior administrative officers, doctors, ambulance and fire brigade officers can display only when on duty. Apart from this, post can be written during emergency. This is also decided as per the notification issued by the State Government under special circumstances.

It needs to be installed in new vehicles as well as old vehicles. In many states of the country, challans are also being issued to those who do not install these number plates.
Made of aluminium, the plate has a hologram in the left corner, which contains the complete details of the vehicle. The plate also has a unique laser code for security. - If you have a two-wheeler vehicle, its number plate size should be 200 x 100 mm.
- Size of number plate shall be 340 x 200 mm or 500 x 120 mm for passenger car or light motor vehicle.
- Whereas the number plate size of a medium or heavy commercial vehicle should be 340 x 200 mm.
