OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new foldable phone – OnePlus Open 2 in the market. The launch date of the phone is yet to be confirmed, but in the meantime Smartprix has increased the excitement of users by leaking its renders and special features. According to the leak, the design of the OnePlus Open 2 will be similar to the OnePlus Open. The company is going to offer a circular camera module on its back panel. However, the internal camera layout of OnePlus Open 2 has been changed. In this you will find three sensors in the top half of the circle and Hasselblad branding below.
Flat body and slim design In the new foldable phone, the company is going to offer a curved rear edge instead of a flat body. When unfolded, the phone's design looks similar to the OnePlus Open, but is slightly larger and thinner than the original phone. According to the report, it is less than 10mm thick when folded. In such a case, it could be one of the slimmest foldable phones in the market. However, the report says that the information regarding the design of the phone is based on a late-stage production prototype and its final design may differ slightly.
Features and Specifications The company may offer an 8-inch 2K LTPO main display with a refresh rate of 120Hz in this phone. It is slightly larger than the OnePlus Open. The display size offered in OnePlus Open is 7.82 inches. Talking about the outer display of the phone, it can be 6.4 inches. This phone can come in 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB internal storage options. As a processor, the company can provide Snapdragon 8 Elite in it.
For photography, you will get a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup in the phone. At the same time, the company may offer 32-megapixel and 20-megapixel cameras for selfies. Talking about the battery, the OnePlus Open comes with a 4800mAh battery, but in the OnePlus Open 2 you get a 5900mAh battery with 80W fast charging. According to the report, this phone could be launched in China as early as 2025. At the same time, its global entry is likely to happen in the first quarter of next year
