Maruti Suzuki will soon use hybrid technology in its popular SUV Fronx. It is believed that with the addition of this technology, a new chapter of the company and the car industry will begin, as the mileage of the car will go up to 30 kilometers per liter. The front car that has made its place in the hybrid vehicle segment can create new records not only in the domestic market but also internationally.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in April 2023. This car created a stir in the Indian market as soon as it was launched. It has become Maruti Suzuki's fastest selling model with sales of over 1 lakh units in just 10 months. Not only this, the company also started exporting it to international markets like Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
Now there is news that the new facelifted model of the Fronx could be launched next year or in 2026. This model will be Maruti's first affordable SUV, which will use strong hybrid technology. Adding to this technology will be the new Z12E engine, which will be first seen in the new variant of the Franks. This engine will come with better fuel efficiency (30+ kmpl) and will also be eco-friendly.
Technology like Nissan's e-Power The emphasis is on making Maruti Suzuki's homegrown HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) system simple and affordable. The technology is similar to Nissan's e-Power technology, in which the petrol engine is primarily used to charge the battery, thereby increasing mileage.
The updated Fronx is not only expected to get hybrid technology, but also minor changes in its design and addition of new features in the interior. This model could be the first sub-4 meter SUV in India, which will use hybrid technology.
