Tech company Infinix is going to launch the 'Infinix Zero 40 5G' smartphone on September 18, Wednesday. The smartphone may feature a 6.74-inch HD + AMOLED curved display, a 108-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel front or selfie camera.
The Infinix Zero 40 smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimension 8200 chipset based on Android 14. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in three color options – Violet Green, Rock Black and Moving Titanium.

Infinix has not given any detailed information about the camera regarding the smartphone. However, this smartphone has been launched in Malaysia. It is expected that this smartphone will be launched in the Indian market as well with similar features.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: Expected Specifications
- Display: The Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD + AMOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its screen resolution is 1080 x 2436 pixels and peak brightness is 1300 nits.
- Camera: For photography and video recording, the round camera module on the rear panel of the smartphone houses a 108MP main camera with depth sensor and a 50MP front camera for selfies.
- Battery: The Infinix Zero 40 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support. Apart from this, the company has also provided 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging in this smartphone.
- OS and Processor: For performance, the Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor. It runs on XOS 14.5 operating system based on Android 14.
- RAM and Storage: To perform, Infinix's upcoming smartphone may have two storage options with 12GB single RAM. The smartphone can have two storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
- Other Features: Talking about other features, Infinix Zero 40 smartphone has many artificial intelligent (AI) features like AI eraser, AI wallpaper, AI cut-out stick.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: Design Infinix's upcoming smartphone features a round camera module on the rear panel. Its design is somewhat similar to the OnePlus 12 series. The back of the smartphone has a dual-tone finish with Zero branding. The thickness of the smartphone is 7.9mm and the weight is 195 grams.
Its starting price in India can be Rs 30,000. The company can also provide two years of Android update with this smartphone. It will get an update to Android 16.
