'Hyundai Alcazar' Facelift Interior Design Revealed: SUV to Get Level-2 ADAS with Over 70 Safety Features, Expected to be Priced at ₹17 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has revealed the interior of the upcoming mid-size SUV Alcazar facelift. Hyundai is preparing to launch this car on September 9. It will be offered in four variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The SUV will get over 70 safety features including Level-2 ADAS. The company has already started the booking of this car. You can book it by paying a token money of Rs 25,000. The starting price of the car can be kept at Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the Hyundai Alcazar will compete with the Mahindra XUV700 three-row variant, the Tata Safari and the MG Hector Pulse. Interior: A 10.25-inch dual display will be available.In the cabin, Alcazar's dashboard layout is similar to that of the Creta. Its central AC vent is now slim and placed below the touchscreen unit. The side AC vents are placed in a cross shape. The car will get many premium features like front ventilated seats and dual camera dash cam setup. The car has dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. Its center console is also similar to the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai has provided a wireless phone charger and a 12W power socket and USB port for the front passenger. The new Alcazar will get new seat upholstery with a new tan and blue cabin theme. The second row has a fixed center armrest and two captain's seats (in the 6-seater version) and individual armrests. It has sunshades for both windows, fold-out trays and flip-out cup holders. A captain's seat for the second row passenger will also be available with wing-shaped headrests, rear AC vents, wireless phone charger and two USB ports. According to the new photo, the ventilation function will be available in the front and second row seats of the Hyundai Alcazar. It also has a Boss mode (in the 6-seater version) to create more legroom for the second-row passenger by moving the co-driver's seat forward. In the 7 seater version, the second row seats will have a tumble-down feature to access the third row. It has 8 power adjustments in both the front seats, while the driver seat has a two-level memory saving function. Exterior: New split LED headlights and connected LED DRL's Hyundai shared images of the car on social media platform X. The biggest highlight of the new Alcazar is its new design, inspired by the Creta. The front of the SUV now features a bold front grille with H-shaped LED DRLs, which are flanked by quad-beam LED headlights. The car has also received major changes at the rear, including new connected LED tail lamps, a redesigned tailgate and an updated bumper with a skid plate. On the side, new diamond-cut alloy wheels with black-painted wheel arches and roof rails are visible above. Performance: Two engine options will be available The new Alcazar may be offered with the same engine options as the Hyundai Creta. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates 160hp of power and 253nm of torque. For transmission, it will have a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT gearbox option. At the same time, a 1.5-litre diesel engine will also be available, generating 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. For transmission, the engine will be available with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed DCT gearbox option. More than 70 connected car features will be available The SUV will get more than 70 connected car features including air purifier with AQI display, 8-speaker Bose premium sound system and wireless charging ports for all rows. From the recently released teaser, the car is seen with a panoramic sunroof, push button start-stop, dual-zone AC, paddle shifters with voice control. Safety: Over 70 features will be available including Level-2 ADAS For safety, Alcazar will offer Level 2 ADAS on some variants, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Surround-View Monitor, Front Camera on Creta , adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist etc. 19 safety technologies will be included including keep assist, lane departure warning, all-wheel disc brakes. Overall, the car will get more than 70 safety features. Apart from this, safety features like 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts with reminder for all passengers, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mount will also be available as standard in the car.
