Honda has unveiled the concept version of the Honda Activa CUV e at the ongoing EICMA 2024 motor show in Milan, Italy. The company will sell the EV under the Activa EV name in India and a different name in the global market. The CUV e is offered with two removable battery packs. Honda claims that it will give a range of over 70 kilometers on a single charge. Apart from this, the company has not shared more information about the e-scooter. The company showed this concept model at the Tokyo Motor Show last year.
Also introduced concept models of two electric two-wheelers Honda EV Fun and Honda EV Urban. The EV Fun Concept is a sporty electric naked bike from Honda, which will be launched in 2025. A bike based on the EV Urban concept will take time to go into production.

Design: The e-scooter will come with three color options The CUV e has a traditional scooter design, which looks quite simple. The headlight is provided on the front panel, while the petrol version of the Activa has the headlight on the handle bar. Honda claims that it will be as powerful as a 110cc petrol scooter. The electric scooter will be offered with three color options. These include Pearl Jubilee White, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Premium Silver Metallic.
The Honda electric scooter has a telescopic fork at the front. It uses 190mm front disc and 110mm drum brake at the rear. It has 12-inch alloy wheels on either side. The CUV e will have a wheelbase of 1,310mm, seat height of 765mm and ground clearance of 270mm.

Performance: 70km range on full charge with removable battery According to media reports, the Honda CUV e electric scooter will be offered with a mid-mounted electric motor with a maximum power of 6kW. The scooter will be offered with three riding modes: Standard, Sport and Econ. Apart from this, physical keys and reverse mode will also be available as standard.
To power the motor, two 1.3kWh removable batteries will be available, offering a range of 70km on a single charge and a top speed of 80kmph. It takes 3 hours to charge an electric scooter from 0 to 75% and 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100% using a standard charger.
