Soon after updating the Activa 125 and SP125, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated model of the SP160. The company has modified the engine in the sporty bike as per OBD2B emission norms. The bike now comes with some cosmetic changes and features like Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, digital instrument cluster and dual disc brakes. This bike will also run on E-20 petrol.
The bike is available in two variants. Its single disc brake variant is priced at Rs 1,21,951 and the dual disc brake variant is priced at Rs 1,27,956 lakh. Both are priced ex-showroom. The updated motorcycle is now available for sale at HMSI dealerships across the country. In the 160CC segment, the bike will compete against Bajaj's Yamaha FZ, Bajaj Pulsar P150, Suzuki Gixxer and TVS Apache RTR160 2V.

What's New in the 2025 Honda SP160? Honda SP160 has been introduced with new graphics. Apart from this, no changes have been made in its muscular design. The updated bike is available with four color options. These include Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray and Athletic Blue Metallic colors.
To give the front of the bike a better look, there is a new LED headlamp and a muscular fuel tank with a sporty shroud. Other highlights include an aerodynamic undercall and a bold muffler with a chrome cover, which adds to its sporty look. There is also an LED taillight at the rear.
The bike has a new 4.2 inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The system is compatible with the Honda RoadSync app, which offers features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts and music playback. The bike also has a USB Type-C charging port.
Hardware: 276mm dual front disc brakes No changes have been made to the rest of the bike. For a comfortable ride, it has a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking setup includes a 276mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake on the double disc variant, while the single disc variant has a 130mm rear drum brake.
The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with 80-section front and 130-section rear tire setup. It has a wheelbase of 1,347mm, ground clearance of 177mm, seat height of 79mm and a fuel tank of 12 litres.

13.5hp powerful engine The company has provided a 162.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine in the bike. This engine also comes in the Unicorn and XBlade, but the SP160's engine has been tuned to be more powerful and torquey than both the bikes. It generates 13.5hp of power and 14.6Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is OBD2B compliant, meaning the bike will also run on E20 petrol.
For transmission, the engine gets a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SP160 is less powerful than sporty bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, but it will take on the Pulsar P150, Yamaha FZ and Suzuki Gixxer.
