Google is rolling out a new feature that will help jail thieves who steal smartphones in the coming days. Actually, a new feature has been prepared by Google, which protects the smartphone from theft. This is known as the Google Theft Detection Lock feature. This feature is being rolled out for Android users.
Three new safety features from Google If the leaked report is to be believed then three theft detection features of Google will be introduced. It includes features like smartphone theft lock, offline device lock and remote lock. These are designed to keep the smartphone safe if it is stolen.
The phone can be locked remotely At the beginning of the new year, Google will launch three new features for Android smartphones. It also includes devices like Theft Detection Lock, Offline Device Lock, and Remote Lock that allow users to lock their device instantly when swiped, preventing thieves from accessing any sensitive information. According to an Android report, the first two tools were first spotted on the Xiaomi 14T Pro and some Pixel users are said to have reported the remote lock feature.
How the new feature will work In this feature if someone steals your phone, Google AI will report that someone has snatched your phone from your hands. In this, if the thief tries to run away, ride a bike or drive a car, the phone screen will be locked. Apart from this, the offline device lock feature allows the thief to disconnect the phone from the internet and lock the screen automatically. You can lock your phone with Google's Find My Device. The third feature is Remote Lock, which lets you lock the phone using your Google account.
