Bengaluru-based EV manufactures Aether Energy has announced a price hike for its family electric scooter Aether Rizta. According to dealer sources, the company has priced the electric scooter at Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000 is going to increase. The new prices will be effective from January 1.
This electric scooter is available in 3 variants and 7 color options. Its price is Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom) is between. It competes with electric scooters like TVS i-Cube, Ola S1 Air. The offer on the scooter is also available on e-commerce Flipkart before the price hike.
Ather Rizta was launched in April this year.
India's first e-scooter with 56 liter boot space The company claims that it runs up to 160 km on a full charge. Athar says this is the electric scooter with the biggest seat and the most boot space in the electric two-wheeler segment. The Rizta has a boot space of 34 liters under the seats. A small storage compartment called 'joy pocket' is provided at the front of the boot to keep small items like first aid kit or dusting cloth.
Aether Rizta: The performance Rizta scooter has a 4.3 kW motor of Aether 450X. It has 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery pack options. The smaller battery pack has a range of 123 km and the larger battery pack has a range of 160 km. The top speed of all the variants is 80km/h. The charging time of the 2.9 kWh battery pack is 6.40 hours. Whereas, the charging time of the 3.7kWh battery pack is only 4.30 hours.
