E-Vitara to be Suzuki's first electric car: Production version of EVX launched in global market, eSUV will run up to 400km on a full charge

Maruti Suzuki India's parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled its first electric car in the global market at the EICMA-2024 motor show that began on October 4 in Milan, Italy. Named e-Vitara, the mid-size electric SUV is the production version of the EVX, which was first unveiled at the Auto Expo-2023.

This car will be presented at the Global Mobility Show-2025 in India. The production of this electric SUV will start from February 2025 at Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited's plant. It is expected to go on sale in Europe, Japan and India by June. The company claims that this car will run for 400 kilometers once it is fully charged.
