Apple's 'It's Glow Time' event to be held today: 4 iPhone 16 series smartphones to be launched, may get AI features for the first time

iPhone maker Apple's biggest launch event of the year will take place tonight at 10:30 p.m. The name of the event is 'It's Glow Time'. The iPhone 16 series could introduce four models with AI features – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The company may also launch Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods in it. According to reports, the Apple 10 series may be slimmer than before. Its display can also be large. The company may also launch low-end AirPods in it. The display size of the iPhone may change According to many leaks, Apple may change the display size of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro Max could have a 6.9-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro could have a 6.3-inch display. iPhones are being manufactured in India since 2017 Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017 with the iPhone SE. It has three Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners – Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron. After iPhone SE, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 were also manufactured in India. Foxconn's plant is in Sriperumbudur near Chennai. Apple is a part of the Government of India's PLI scheme All three of Apple's contract manufacturers (Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron) have received the Government of India's Rs. 41,000 crore as part of the Production-Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI). It is only after this scheme that iPhone production in India has increased. In 2020, the Government of India launched the PLI scheme. Through this scheme, companies from foreign countries get an opportunity to benefit from local production and are also encouraged to do so. The Type-C port was introduced for the first time last year.Apple also launched the iPhone 15 series, Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 at the 'Wonderlust' event last year.
