Likewise, hundreds of people are separated from their families every day due to overcrowding there.

Answer- If you are going for Mahakumbha bath with children and elderly then they need to be taken special care. If children remind your mobile number and address. Give children and the elderly a slip of paper with their address and mobile number written on it, so that they can contact someone for help immediately if they get separated.

Millions of devotees from all over the world are participating in it every day. According to the Prayagraj Fair Authority, around 40 crore devotees are expected to attend the Mahakumbh, which runs from January 13 to February 26.

If you want to travel by bus, train or plane, pre-book tickets for this. Apart from this, make an advance booking of Hotel, Lodge, Dharamshala or Tent City to stay in Prayagraj. So that the family does not have to face any kind of problem in the winter season.

Keep in mind that while booking a hotel, use only the official website or mobile number. Never fall into the trap of booking cheap rates by anyone. Doing so can make you a victim of fraud. Apart from this, keep some important things in mind for the safety of your family during Mahakumbh. such as-

  • Always go to an authorized ghat for bathing only.
  • Always stay with children, elders and other family members. Everyone bathes at one place on the ghat.
  • If the ferry is very crowded, avoid taking children there.
  • Keep your luggage in a safe place while reaching the ghat for bathing. Congested places are more prone to theft of goods.
  • Do not trust a stranger in Mahakumbh. Apart from this, avoid eating in unauthorized places.
  • Carry your identity card, hotel or lodge name and booking details.
  • If you notice any suspicious activity during the Mahakumbh, report it to the police immediately.
