News of a hidden camera being found in the girls' washroom of an engineering college in Gudiwada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh has created a stir. It is being told that videos of students were being recorded and sold with hidden cameras. According to the police, around 300 photo-videos have been leaked so far. This came to light when a student went to the washroom and found something suspicious there. On investigation, it was found that a camera was installed there to capture the video. After this the student complained to the college administration. On August 10, a similar case came to light from Bengaluru, Karnataka, where a hidden camera was found in the washroom of a coffee shop. It was kept hidden in the dustbin in front of the toilet seat. This is the era of digital and hi-tech cameras, which are used to carry out such criminal incidents. In such a situation extreme caution needs to be exercised in the changing rooms of washrooms of hotels, cafes, malls or any public place.
