Answer : Many dangerous chemicals are used for artificial ripening of bananas in India. such as-

Calcium Carbide: This is a chemical compound used to ripen bananas faster. Due to this the color and taste of banana changes.

Ethylene Repairer: It is a gas that is used to cook bananas quickly.

Sodium Hydroxide: It is a strong alkaline, which is used to ripen bananas. Due to this the color and taste of banana changes.
