Youth beaten with stick in Haryana: Suspected of eating beef beaten to death on pretext of giving scraps, lab report reveals no beef

On August 27 in Badhra town of Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district, Muslim youth Sabir Malik was killed on suspicion of eating beef, which was not cow meat. This has been revealed in the lab report.

Badra DSP Bharat Bhushan said that the meat samples have been sent to a lab in Faridabad for testing. We have received his report from there. This was not forbidden meat. We have arrested 10 accused. Will present the challan in court soon. The lab report will also be produced in the court along with the challan. Six accused are yet to be arrested.

From there he called Sabir Malik, a resident of West Bengal's 24 Parganas district, on the pretext of giving scrap. Sabir Malik and a youth from Assam were taken to Badhra bus stand and beaten up.

On August 28, the Badhra police station registered a case of murder on the complaint of Sabir Malik's brother-in-law Shujauddin Sardar. Police have arrested 5 persons in this case namely Abhishek alias Shaka, Ravindra alias Kalia, Mohit, Kamaljit and Sahil alias Pappy. The accused also include two minors, who have been sent to the Faridabad Correctional Home.
