You didn't pay attention to sensitive issue: In 8 days, Mamata Didi wrote to Modi again, said- Law should be made for strict punishment of rape offenders

Mamata Banerjee has written a second letter to Prime Minister Modi in 8 days regarding the Kolkata rape-murder case. In this, Mamata said- I had written a letter on August 22 demanding a law to give strict punishment to rapists, but I have not received any response from you on such a sensitive issue. Although there was certainly a response from the Government of India, they did not consider the seriousness of the issue. I again request that the central government make a strict law on heinous crimes like rape and murder. The law should also provide for the termination of the case within the stipulated time. In fact, in a letter written to the PM on August 22, Mamata said that 90 rapes are taking place in the country every day. A fast track court should be built. In response, Women Development Minister Annapurna Devi wrote a letter to Mamata on August 26, in which she said that there are 123 fast track courts, but most of them are closed. Mamata said – 88 fast track courts are functioning in the state Mamata wrote to the PM in her last letter – cases like rape should be closed within 15 days CM Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to Modi – Current data shows that 90 rape cases are happening in the country every day. In most cases the rape victim is killed. This trend is scary. This shakes the confidence and conscience of the society and the country. It is our duty to make women feel safe. This requires the central government to enact a strict law, which provides for strict punishment for those who commit such heinous crimes. Such cases should be tried in fast track courts. It is necessary to complete the trial within 15 days to ensure speedy justice to the victim. Center's response to Mamata's first letter – Most of Bengal's fast track courts closed Mamata's first letter was responded to by Minister for Women Development and Family Welfare Annapurna Devi on behalf of the Central Government. He said that a total of 123 fast track courts were started in Bengal, but most of them are closed.
