Why Amit Shah as BJP Observer in Haryana?: Anil Vij Claims CM Against Saini, 3 Reasons Including Ahirwal's Demand for Chief Minister's Chair

BJP's Nayab Singh Saini is almost certain to be the CM face after winning 48 out of 90 seats in Haryana. However, the BJP has given birth to many political debates by making Union Home Minister Amit Shah an observer along with Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav.

Because Shah had said before the election from the platform of Panchkula that he will fight this election under the leadership of Naib Saini. Now Shah's arrival on October 16, a day before the swearing-in ceremony on October 17, is giving many clues. According to political experts there could be three major reasons for this…

1. Anil Vij's claim for Chief Ministership In the MLA meeting, if there is any problem with Naib Saini becoming the CM again, it is Anil Vij who has become MLA for the 7th time from Ambala Cantt. Vij claimed during election campaign that he is senior. According to seniority, he will claim the post of Chief Minister this time.

If Vij is against Saini's name in the MLA meeting, Shah will have to handle him. Earlier also in March, when Naib Saini was elected as the MLA leader in place of Manohar Lal Khattar, Vij had left the seat. If BJP insiders are to be believed, there is no chance of replacing Saini as CM at present, but the BJP did pull off a surprise in 2014 by bringing in Manohar Lal Khattar.

This picture is from September 15. 20 days before the Assembly elections, Anil Vij claimed the post of CM of Ambala Cantt.

2. Attitude of Ahirwal Belt MLAs Another issue related to the CM face is the Ahirwal belt. This time BJP has won 10 out of 11 seats from here. There is a constant demand from the Ahirwal belt that the CM should be the face from there. It is also because in 2014, BJP won all 11 seats from here and got majority with 47 seats. In 2019, BJP won 8 seats from here and its majority reduced from 46 to 40. This is why Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit has already said that he has done his job, now the party should take note. By the presence of Shah, it can also be seen what will be the attitude of the MLAs there if Saini becomes the CM.

This picture is from October 9. In a meeting of supporters in Rewari, Rao Indrajit Singh again presented his claim for the post of Chief Minister.

3. Candidacy for ministerial posts BJP has definitely crossed the majority mark, but the position is not clear as to who will be in the cabinet this time. Especially some faces associated with and associated with RSS may also get their number after being elected as MLAs. There are some MLAs who were upset with former CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Apart from this, Rao Indrajit is also demanding 2 to 3 minister posts from Ahirwal belt. In such a situation, Shah will manage that no deserving person misses out on getting a ministerial post and there is no major controversy.

Know what has happened since the election results till now…

On October 8, the BJP got an absolute majority The results of the Haryana assembly elections came on October 8 (Tuesday), with the BJP getting an absolute majority. BJP got 48 seats. 3 Independent MLAs also supported BJP. In this situation, BJP has a total of 51 MLAs. MLAs supporting the BJP include Rajesh June from Bahadurgarh, Devendra Kadian from Gannor and Savitri Jindal from Hisar.

Naib Saini met PM and other leaders in Delhi Naib Saini reached Delhi on October 9 after BJP got majority. Here he first met PM Narendra Modi. After this, he met President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, besides State Election In-charge Union Minister Dharmendra Mantri and National President JP Nadda.

After this discussion started that the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister will be held on October 12. However, it was postponed due to PM Modi's foreign tour. After this, the matter of oath taking ceremony on October 15 came up.

Saini returned from Delhi on October 10 evening Naib Saini reached Chandigarh on the evening of 10 October after spending 2 days in Delhi. On October 11, he instructed all the BJP MLAs to reach the grain markets of their respective constituencies and take stock of paddy purchases. Naib Saini himself also reached various grain markets in Kurukshetra district.

Here he instructed the officials that the farmers should not face any kind of problem. Two officials were suspended and asked to rectify the situation within 2 hours after finding bad arrangement in Ladwana grain market.

Naib Singh Saini reviewed the purchase of paddy in Kurukshetra.

Saini again left for Delhi on the evening of 11 October On October 11, the movement intensified over the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister at the Parade Ground in Panchkula. First of all former Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia reached here and inspected the preparations. After this, ADGP Alok Mittal reached the ground. Construction of a road around the parade ground was started.

Discussion started again in the evening that the swearing-in ceremony may be postponed for a day or two as PM Modi is abroad. After this Naib Saini again left for Delhi to meet the central leaders. Here he first met Amit Shah. After this, the date of swearing-in ceremony was fixed on October 17. This is the third time that the date of the swearing-in ceremony has been changed.

BJP appointed observers on October 13 BJP has made Amit Shah an observer for Haryana's new CM election. Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav will also accompany him. The BJP high command has made Amit Shah an observer for the first time since 2022 to elect the leader of the legislative party in a state. In March-2022, Shah went to UP as an observer. The swearing-in ceremony of Haryana's new CM will be held on October 17 in Panchkula. Before that, a meeting of the legislative party has been called in Chandigarh on October 16, in which both the observers will be present.
