Vande Metro train has been renamed by Indian Railways. Ahead of his birthday today, PM Narendra Modi is going to gift the country's first Vande Metro to the people of Gujarat, but before that the name of the train has been changed.
Ahead of the inauguration of Vande Metro, the Railways has changed the name of Vande Metro to 'Namo Bharat Rapid Rail'. That means Vande Metro will now be known as Namo Bharat Rapid Rail across the country. Today the country will get the first Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Ahmedabad and Bhuj.
When will Namo Bharat Rapid Rail services start?
Vande Metro (Namo Bharat Rapid Rail Service) will start from September 17 between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. While this train between Bhuj and Ahmedabad will run on the tracks from September 18.
According to Western Railway, Ahmedabad-Bhuj Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will run from Ahmedabad every day except Saturday at 5:30 PM and will reach Bhuj at 11:10 PM on the same day.
This train from Bhuj will depart from Bhuj at 5.05 am every day except Sunday. It will reach Ahmedabad at 10.50 am on the same day.
