A temporary water tank in a labor camp collapsed in Maharashtra's Pune on Thursday morning. In this accident, three laborers were killed, while 7 were injured. The incident took place in Pimpri Chinchwad township area, when some laborers were taking a bath under the water tank.
Police said the wall of the water tank might have broken due to the pressure of the water, causing the tank to fall. So the laborers were buried under the debris.

Before going to work in the morning, the workers came to bathe at the tap near the tank. Then suddenly the tank collapsed and the laborers who had come to bathe were crushed under it. Around 1000 to 1200 laborers from Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and other states live in this labor camp. Some laborers have arrived four or five days earlier.

The laborers were working on Adani Group projects NCCL Adani Group is operating in Landewadi. These laborers were working at that place. They leave for work at 8 am. So they reached the water tank for bathing. At this place, arrangements were made so that 20 to 25 laborers could bathe together. 60 mobile toilets were also installed here. When the incident happened in the morning, 20 to 25 laborers had gone to bathe.
