Party: JMM
Leader: Hemant Soren
Hemant is the current CM of Jharkhand. Before the assembly elections, he had to spend 140 days in jail in a land scam case. After getting bail, he became CM again. As soon as the election is announced, Hemant Soren is chanting 'Jail Ka Badla Jeet Se'.
Hemant himself belongs to the Santhal caste. After going to prison he grew a beard to the point where he looked somewhat like his father Shibu Soren. In such a situation the people of Santhal-Pargana who worship Shibu Soren even today are directly associated with Hemant.
Party: JMM
Leader: Kalpana Soren
Kalpana Soren is contesting from Gandeya seat in Giridih district. In the by-election held in June 2024, he defeated BJP's Dilip Verma from the same seat by 27 thousand votes. This time Kalpana is going among the women voters with 'Maiyan Samman Yojana'. She is holding 3 to 4 public meetings daily. He has held more than 70 public meetings so far.
Kalpana is promising a separate Sarna Dharma Code for tribals, which is having a major impact on tribal voters. JMM seems to benefit directly from it.
Party: BJP
Leader: Babulal Marandi
BJP state president and Jharkhand's first chief minister Babulal Marandi is contesting from Dhanwar seat in Giridih district. He also won from here in 2019. After that he was in the field on the banner of his party Jharkhand Vikas Morcha. Later he merged the party with BJP.
The BJP under the leadership of Babulal Marandi has laid a strong siege against the JMM. First Champai broke Soren's party. Then JDU and LJP (Ram Vilas) were added in alliance with AJSU. BJP has increased its strength in tribal seats by giving tickets to relatives of 4 former chief ministers of Jharkhand.

Jharkhand Democratic Revolutionary Front (JLKM) president Jairam Mahato is contesting from Barmo Dumri seat. The state has more than 15% Kurmi voters, the largest vote bank after the tribal community. Jairam Mahato hails from the Kurmi community. Jairam Mahato is raising issues like paper leak, employment and use of local languages in competitive exams.
Jamtara: Soren and Ansari face off
This time Sita Soren Jamtara is contesting from general seat. Because she is a resident of Odisha. So he cannot contest from a reserved seat. After Furqan Ansari, Irrfan has irrigated the land of Jamtara with full dedication. Popular among minorities, Irfan Ansari has been sharing the joys and sorrows of people from other communities. This time too Sita Soren will face a tough challenge if she gets the support of the Santhal voters.
