Avadh Ojha, who did UPSC coaching, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party. The party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal and senior party leader Manish Sisodia have inducted Awadh Ojha into the party.
Oja Sahib said that education is milk, whoever drinks it will roar. He has been coaching students for the past 22 years. His social media followers are in millions. Now Ojha sir can contest on AAP ticket in Delhi assembly elections to be held in February 2025.
First he sought ticket from BJP, then from Congress In an interview to a news channel in August 2024, Awadh Ojha said that he wanted to contest the last Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket. He sought ticket from the party for Prayagraj seat, but did not get it. The party asked him to contest from Kaiserganj, but he had to contest from Prayagraj.
He said that he did not contest from Kaisarganj due to his mother's refusal. After this he sought a ticket from the Congress to contest the Amethi seat. Initially the party was ready for this, but later Kishorelal Sharma got ticket from this seat.
Prepared for UPSC by selling land, failed in Mains Awadh Ojha was born on 3 July 1984 in Gonda, UP. His father Prasad Ojha was a postmaster. He had 10 acres of land. Father sold 5 acres of land to enable wife to study. After completing his studies, he became a lawyer.
The second time Prasad Ojha also sold the remaining 5 acres of land for his son's education. Awadh started preparing for UPSC. In an interview he said, 'Where I come from, you either have to be an IAS officer or a criminal.'
Awadh Ojha started teaching in 2005 at Chanakya IAS and Vajiram and Ravi Coaching Center in New Delhi. In the year 2019, IQRA launched its own coaching institute in the name of IAS.
one In an interview, he said, 'It was 2006-07. I came to Delhi in 2005. He opened his own institute – Ushma Coaching Center. No money was received from home. We had to pay coaching center rent, house rent and stay in Delhi. At that time, the cost of Mukherjee Nagar was Rs 20,000 per month. So he had to bear all the expenses. So I studied, worked at night and took classes in the morning.
