Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal was cremated in Delhi, which was also attended by former Union Minister Smriti Irani. Rohit Bal passed away on Friday. He was suffering from a heart related ailment for a long time. He also underwent angioplasty after suffering a heart attack in 2010.
Rohit Bal was named 'Designer of the Year' at the International Fashion Awards in 2001 and 2004. Fashion Development Council of India (FDCI) President Sunil Sethi said – He (Rohit) had a heart attack. Rohit was a legend. We are completely shaken.
