Two coaches of Somnath Express train (Overnight Express) from Indore to Bhopal derailed near the railway station on Saturday morning. The accident took place when the train was reaching platform number 6 of the railway station. At the same time two coaches of AC coach derailed. As soon as the information was received, senior railway officials reached the spot along with the accident control train. Work is going on to bring the derailed coaches back on track. The good thing is that there were no casualties in the incident. Up track is definitely disruptive. According to information, Indore Jabalpur Overnight Express train reaches Jabalpur at around 5:35 AM. The train arrived on time. As soon as the train reached Jabalpur railway station, two coaches of the AC coach derailed. Railways has also started an investigation into the accident. PRO said- track will be repaired soon Jabalpur-Indore-Jabalpur Overnight Express did not reach the platform till 6 am, when the passengers got down from the coach they found the train standing on the track. People could not understand why the train stopped. After this, when some passengers came out of the coach and came a little further, they saw that two coaches of the AC coach had derailed. West Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Harshit Srivastava says that the track will be repaired soon. The train coming from Itarsi to Jabalpur has been halted at Madan Mahal station for some time. The passenger said- It felt as if the brakes suddenly applied. A passenger, Sandeep Kumar, said that he was resting in the coach. During this time, there were some jerks as if the brakes were applied too quickly. By the time I could understand anything, the train had stopped. However, for a while it also looked as if there had been an accident. After this the train stopped for a long time. After some time when I got down from the coach and looked outside, two coaches of the AC coach had derailed.
