In Delhi's Harsh Vihar area, two brothers were attacked with multiple stab wounds in the middle of the road. In which the elder brother died. The younger brother was injured. This incident is on October 12. Police said the deceased Ankur, a resident of Pratap Nagar, was returning from the Dussehra fair along with his younger brother Himanshu.
Both brothers survived a collision with a bike. Three youths were riding the bike. Ankur and Himanshu asked them to ride the bike equally, which angered the youths. The three accused together started beating Ankur and Himanshu.
The youth sustained stab wounds on the chest, stomach and thigh
After the attack, the three youths fled from the spot on a bike.
Uparachhapari stabbed one to death
After this, a young man took out a knife and attacked both the brothers. The accused inflicted multiple stab wounds on Ankur's chest, stomach and thigh. Himanshu was attacked on neck and thigh. The crowd present at the scene was just watching the spectacle. The assailants kept stabbing the two brothers, but no one dared to come forward from the crowd to save the two brothers. Himanshu took his elder brother Ankur by e-rickshaw to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media. In it, three people are seen attacking the two brothers on a crowded road. After the attack, the three youths left there on bikes.
Police identified the accused, arrested one
Police have identified the three accused with the help of CCTV footage. 22-year-old youth Vikas has also been arrested. Two accused are still absconding. The youth's bike has also been found.
Police said Ankur's body has been handed over to his family after post-mortem. Ankur's father Krishna Pal has demanded strict action against the accused.

A 55-year-old doctor was shot dead by two minors at Neema Hospital in Jetpur area of Delhi's Kalindi Kunj. Both the accused escaped after the incident. According to the hospital staff, the age of both the accused was between 16 and 17 years. One accused was treated for a toe injury on October 1. He reached the hospital late on Wednesday night with a boy.
