Sharda Sinha cremated in Patna tomorrow: Body kept at home for darshan, CM Nitish pays tribute

Bihar's famous folk singer Sharda Sinha has been brought to her residence in Rajendra Nagar, Patna. CM Nitish Kumar reached home and paid tributes to him. He will be cremated tomorrow (Thursday) with state honors at Gulbi Ghat in Patna.

BJP National President JP Nadda will visit Sharda Sinha's house in Rajendra Nagar on Thursday evening and pay tribute to her.

Sharda Sinha passed away at Delhi AIIMS on Tuesday night. She was 72 years old. The songs he sang on Chhath became very popular and he breathed his last on the very first day of this festival.

Delhi AIIMS said that Sharda Sinha died due to septicemia (blood infection). On October 26, he was admitted to Delhi AIIMS after his health deteriorated. When her health improved on November 3, she was shifted to a private ward, but on the evening of November 4, her oxygen level began to drop, after which she was on a ventilator.

On the demise of Sarada Sinha, PM Modi said- Maithili and Bhojpuri folk songs sung by her (Sharda) have been very popular for many decades. His songs related to the great festival Chhath will always resonate.

Another Sharda Sinha cannot be born in Bihar Hriday Narayan Jha, who wrote Maithili and Bhojpuri songs for Sarada Sinha, said that another Sarada Sinha cannot be born in Bihar now. Sharda Sinha's singing prowess in six songs and wedding songs will be written in golden letters in the pages of history. Sharda Sinha has created history by adding sweetness to Chhath songs, which can never be forgotten.
