Security forces have killed 9 Naxalites in an encounter with Naxalites on the border of Dantewada-Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday (September 3). Firing between security forces and Naxalites has been going on since 6 am. The case is from Kirandul police station area. Dantewada District SP Gaurav Rai Bhaskar said that information was received from an informer that a large number of Naxalites were present towards Puranjale, Loha village below the hills of Bailadila. Based on this information, DRG and CRPF personnel were sent for search operation at night. Jawans surrounded the Naxalites of West Bastar Division Committee Rai said that when the jawans entered the main area of the Naxalites, the Naxalites opened fire.
