RSS said- Caste census sensitive issue: should be done for development of society, not used for election campaign

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday said caste-based census is good for people's welfare, but it should not be used for election campaigning. Government should count caste only for statistics. Ambekar said- Caste is a very sensitive issue in our Hindu society. Census is important for our national unity and security. This should be done very seriously. The government also needs data for the welfare of any caste or community. This has happened before. But this should be done only for the good of the society. Don't make it a political tool of election. Congress says – RSS openly opposes caste enumeration On the last day of the three-day coordination meeting in Kerala's Palakkad from August 31, RSS All India Promotion Chief Sunil Ambekar spoke to a trainee doctor in Kolkata on rape-murder, Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the situation. On Uniform Civil Code, Ambekar said- The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) model is already among the people. He placed it in the public domain before adopting the UCC in Uttarakhand. So I think they got more than 2 lakh applications and they discussed it. I think it's in the public domain now. People have experience of this, then we can discuss it. 3. On the condition of Hindus in Bangladesh, Ambekar said that during the meeting many organizations presented detailed reports on the condition of Bangladesh. Everyone is worried about Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. We have requested the government to talk to the government of Bangladesh for the protection of Hindus and other minorities there. 4. On the issue of reform related to Waqf Board, Ambekar said that on the discussion on the issue of reform related to Waqf Board, Sunil Ambekar said that this issue has been discussed. This issue is huge. This should be widely discussed. There have been a large number of complaints from the Muslim community regarding Waqf. In such a situation, it is being discussed on a large scale. Advises BJP in last meeting – Negligence will not work In the coordination meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh held in September 2023, the Sangh advised BJP that there is no need to fear a coalition of opposition forces, but negligence will also not help. Sarsangchalak Dr. started this meeting. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosable worshiped Bharat Mata. Officials of 36 organizations of the union participated in this meeting.
