Now Robotic Multi-Utility Legged Equipment (MULE) i.e. Robotic Dogs will also be deployed along the borders of the country.
These robotic dogs are capable of working from any high mountain to deep water. It can also be operated sitting 10 km away.
After charging for one hour, they can work continuously for up to 10 hours. The robotic dog practiced with the Indian Army's Battle X Division from November 14 to 21 at the Pokhran Firing Range in Jaisalmer.
The design of this robotic dog is such that it will work easily in desert, snow, rough terrain and even mountainous areas.
How Robotic Dog Works, What Benefits Army, Read Report… The army has conducted an exercise to find and eliminate the enemy with this dog.
In addition, logistics drones are being tested to improve support and transportation in high-altitude areas. Recently the Indian Army has inducted 100 robotic dogs for use in border areas (especially high altitude areas).
The Army completed a practice of detecting and eliminating the enemy with a robotic dog at the Pokhran Firing Range in Jaisalmer.
Equipped with thermal cameras and radar The robotic dogs are equipped with thermal cameras and radar. Its biggest feature is its design. It enables to cross every obstacle like snow, desert, rough ground, steep stairs and mountainous areas. The robotic dog is also capable of firing at enemy targets while protecting the soldiers from any harm.
A mule dog can be driven at a range of 1 meter to 10 km. Can also be used on Wi-Fi or Long Term Evolution i.e. LTE. Wi-Fi can be used for short distances. While 4G/LTE can be used for a distance of up to 10 km. It has a camera that can rotate 360 degrees.
Robotic dogs work through sensors. They have a remote control unit, through which they are monitored. These robotic dogs will supply essential goods to the army. These robotic dogs are equipped with high resolution cameras and sensors, which will detect even hidden enemies. Will provide real time data. By this the army will monitor the movement of the enemy.
China has already incorporated robot dogs into its military operations.
The Indian Army's Battle X Division conducted a desert exercise at the Field Firing Range in Pokhran.
According to army sources, the army exercise ended on Thursday. More than 50 soldiers of a unit of Battle X Division of the Indian Army participated in it. This exercise was done for 7 days. In which about 10 robotic dogs were involved. Meanwhile, a robotic dog was trialled to help soldiers in difficult situations, including carrying weapons, detecting enemy locations through cameras.
High technology was used during this exercise.
The exercise was monitored by drones.
