'Repeat all three repealed agriculture laws': Kangana said – Farmers themselves should make this demand; The Modi government withdrew the agitation after 378 days

BJP MP from Himachal Kangana Ranaut has demanded re-implementation of 3 repealed agriculture laws. Kangana said that the farmers themselves should demand the implementation of this law. In November 2021, the central government had to withdraw these laws after 14 months of farmers' agitation.

After this statement, the opposition has started to surround Kangana. Punjab Akali Dal spokesperson Arshdeep Singh Kaler said that the BJP should expel Kangana from the party. National Security Act (NSA) should be imposed on Kangana.

Kangana's statement on agriculture laws came out on 23 September. She arrived at the closing ceremony of the district level Nalvad Mela at Khyod in Mandi district. Talking to reporters here, he made a statement on 3 agricultural laws.

Haryana Congress wrote – these laws will never be withdrawn

At the same time, senior BJP leader Harjit Grewal said that Kangana should stop talking about Punjab, farmers and Sikhs. We will take this matter up to the High Command.

Now read two important things Kangana said…

1. Legislation beneficial to farmers should be brought back: Kangana said that the laws relating to farmers, which had been put on hold, should be brought back. Farmers should make this demand themselves. There should be no break in the prosperity of our farmers.

2. Our Farmers Pillar of Strength: The bureaucracy, our leaders, hold elections every three months. One nation, one election is necessary for the development of the country. Similarly, our farmers are also the pillar of strength. They themselves should appeal that our three laws be enforced. Some of our states objected to these laws, I am urging them with folded hands to bring them back.

Kangana made a statement about the farmers twice

1. Kangana said- Rape-killing happened during farmers' agitation: In an interview given to Bhaskar in August, Kangana said that miscreants are spreading violence in the name of farmers' movement in Punjab. There were rapes and murders. Even Punjab would have turned into Bangladesh during the farmers' movement if our top leadership had not been strong. The Farmers Bill was withdrawn, otherwise this was a long scheme of the scoundrels. They can do anything in the country.

Opposition and farmers began to surround Kangana. After this, BJP also announced its stand and distanced itself from Kangana's statement. Kangana was also asked to avoid such statements.

Kangana Ranaut has given a controversial statement on farmers in an interview given to Dainik Bhaskar.

2. Kangana mentioned the women involved in the Khedoot Andolan and the Shaheen Bagh protest.

Amid the farmers' agitation, Kangana Ranaut posted a photo on 27 November 2020 at 10 pm, writing that the woman participating in the farmers' demonstration is the famous Bilkis Dadi, who was at the Shaheen Bagh demonstration. Which is available for 100 rupees. Although Kangana later deleted the post, many social media users shared the post widely. Due to which the actress got caught in controversies.

3 agriculture laws were brought in 2020

On June 5, 2020, the central government brought three agriculture bills through an ordinance. In September 2020, the central government brought the Farm Bill 2020 in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. These bills were passed by both houses, but the farmers did not accept these bills.

Farmers feared that the new bill would wipe out the mandis. The MSP system will end. Big companies will start fixing crop prices. They came across it. Farmers of Punjab sat on the railway tracks, but the government removed them from there.

Two months later, on 25 November, farmers in Punjab and Haryana announced the Delhi Chalo Movement. Farmers' demonstrations started in many cities including Punjab, Haryana, western UP.

Negotiations were held between the government and the farmers 11 times, but there was no result. After this, the Indian Kisan Union also reached the Supreme Court. The court stayed all three agriculture laws for 18 months. Also, a committee was formed to review these laws, but the farmers did not agree. He said, 'We will continue the agitation till the three laws are withdrawn.'

Meanwhile the farmers started building thatched houses. Construction of cutch and paka houses started on Tikri and Singhu border. In many places the farmers have also installed CCTV cameras so that they can see the activities of the police.
