Rampant trailer plunges 20 feet off bridge, VIDEO: Breaks highway divider and falls on water tanker, crash causes chaos on road

The trailer fell on the water tanker on the service line 20 feet below the Delhi-Ajmer Express culvert. The tanker driver sustained a fractured shoulder in the accident. He has been admitted to a private hospital. Mahaveer, head constable of the police station (West), said that the accident took place at around 4:50 pm on Friday. An empty trailer was heading towards Ajmer from the Delhi-Ajmer Express bridge. The over speeding trailer driver lost control of the bridge. The trailer jumped the divider and was crushed by the water tanker falling in the opposite lane. People were scared after hearing the sound of the crash. There was a loud noise as the trailer fell on the water tanker under the bridge. Hearing the explosion, people sitting in the shops came out. Both reached the spot after seeing the damaged vehicles. The accident police reached the spot after informing the police control room about the accident. The trailer driver fled from the spot after the accident. In the accident, the tanker driver Chandalal Saini (40) sustained a fracture in the shoulder. After an hour and a half, the traffic started, after the accident, the traffic was jammed. After about an hour and a half of struggle, the police removed the accident vehicles. Police also found a damaged car parked on the express bridge. Police are looking for the driver of the damaged car as well as the truck driver.
