Voting on 24 seats of the first phase of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections will be held on September 18. Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi left Delhi for Srinagar on Wednesday for election campaign. Rahul's first rally will be held at Ramban's Gul at 12 noon and the second at Anantnag's Duru at 1.30 pm. According to Congress General Secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Rahul Gandhi will campaign for the National Conference and Congress Alliance candidates. This program is only for the first phase. They will again come to Jammu and Kashmir for the remaining 2 phases. The Congress has finalized the names of 40 star campaigners to campaign in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections to be held in three phases on September 18, September 25 and October 1. Apart from Rahul Gandhi, the names of Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are also included in this.
